At the Library
Get free access to nytimes.com at a NOLS branch.

1. Visit nytimes.com on any device using the library’s Wi-Fi connection or on the public computers.

2. Go to the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Click on “Log in” to create a free account.

If you already have a New York Times account log in with that account.

3. If using the New York Times app, log into your NYT account, and make sure you’re using the library’s Wi-Fi.
4. You now have full access to all news articles while logged in at your library. To gain access to games, cooking, audio, wirecutter, and the Atlantic redeem a 24-hour access code.

Get free access to nytimes.com from outside the library using a code.

1. Enter your NOLS library card number into the form and redeem a 24-hour access code.



2. You will need to register for a free nytimes.com account or log in to your existing account.

3. After receiving confirmation that your access code is valid, you will have 24-hours of no-cost access to the full world of The New York Times, including News, Games, Cooking, Audio, Wirecutter, and The Athletic.

4. If you have one or all of the New York Times apps (news, games, recipes, and audio), you can gain access by first redeeming the access code and then signing into the app with your NYTimes.com account.
5. Once your 24-hour access code expires, you can simply repeat the process from Step 1 to redeem another 24-hour code.
