Many new walls went up the past week and we’re starting to get a much better feel for scale of the new library.
Until key custom structural steel pieces arrive on-site, many of the walls are being held up by temporary supports. The staff workroom and offices will now be on the north side of the building, where the children’s area used to be. This area will be the first to be completely framed and roofed, since it’s not a part of the main open gable roof line in the new building.
