Each kit contains at least 5 copies of the title and
some background information.
To reserve a kit for your group, one member can call your local branch, the Port Angeles
Reference Department 360-417-8501, or email your request from our web site.
Policy
Only one kit may be checked out at a time.
Kits are checked out to one person. Members of the group should get
their copies from that member of their group. You cannot check out a
single copy of a book in a kit though the library.
Book discussion kits may be checked out for 6 weeks.
Each overdue book from the kit will be fined $.10 per day to a maximum of
$5.00.
Kits must be returned to the library when it is open, as they will not fit
into the drop box.
If your group happens to lose a book, you can replace it with another copy of
the book, new or secondhand, that is clean and readable, or pay a replacement
fee and service charge of $1.00.
How your Book
Group Can Help
You can help us build our Discussion Kits collection by donating copies of
books your group has read. This will be a great way for your group to
share both the books and the enjoyment of these items. Drop off copies of
your books at any North Olympic Library location. Be sure to mention that
they are for the Book Group Kits.
Thanks!
