Books in Print contains over 3.4 million titles of books, videos and audiobooks. The database, which is updated daily, includes complete publisher information and many reviews. Big Chalk eLibrary elementary provides access, through a kid-friendly interface, to a wide variety of full-text sources and images especially selected for the youngest researchers. Big Chalk and eLibrary Elementary are provided jointly by the Washington State Library and NOLS, and is funded in part with federal LSTA funds.
Consumer Health Complete (CHC) CultureGrams is a concise reference tool created by natives and long-time residents to give you an insider’s perspective of many cultures. It contains articles, maps, photographs, biographies and recipes focusing on world cultures. eLibrary (Proquest) Offers more than 1,500 full-text sources, with improved functionality, and a fun and easy-to-use search interface. Includes magazines, newspapers, books, television/radio transcripts, maps, pictures, and audio/video clips. Foundation Directory Online Platinum available in library only offers extensive program details for 1,000+ leading foundations and detailed application guidelines for 6,000+ foundations. It includes a searchable file of approximately 200,000 grants. Funded through a Grant from United Way of Clallam County. GantStation available in library only is an interactive website that allows grantseekers to identify potential funding sources for their programs or projects, and mentors them through the grantseeking process. The database includes grantmakers who are actively accepting inquiries and proposals from a variety of organizations; federal grant deadlines, which are updated twice a week; links to state funding agencies; and a growing database of international grantmakers. HeritageQuest assembles genealogies, local histories, primary source materials, and genealogical and local history on towns and families from all 50 states as well as Canada and the British Isles. Home Improvement Reference CenterLearningExpress provides practice exams for some of the most frequently administered career and educational tests. Get immediate scoring and individual analysis of your performance. Now LearningExpress provides study guides and test-preparation books to help people prepare for school tests, as well as licensing, certification, or entry-level exams. NetLibrary Public Library eBook Collection is a collection of nearly 4,000 books in electronic format on topics including law, health, computers, business, literature and travel. The full text of books can be searched at netLibrary; titles are also included in the library's online catalog.
Literary Reference Center NoveList helps fiction readers find authors and titles by providing enhanced subject access to nearly 100,000 titles. The database also includes thousands of full-text book reviews and hundreds of theme-oriented book lists. Oxford English Dictionary has long been recognized as the authority on the evolution of the English language. The online version contains the full text of the 20-volume second edition and is updated quarterly with at least 1,000 new or revised entries.
