Library Card Registration

Sign up in Person  -- You can sign up for a card at your local library branch.  You must have identification with your name and current mailing address to get a card.  Library Cards may be used at any branch of the North Olympic Library system and are also used to access internet in the library and many online resources from home, work or school.  You may print out  and fill in the application form  before visiting the library.

Sign up from the Library Catalog --  You can set up a new patron account online if you are at least 13 years old. You provide required information for your new patron account, and electronically submit the information to library staff members. When you register online, you receive a temporary barcode number you can use to request materials, but not to check out items or use online databases purchased by the library. Once your registration has been confirmed by library staff, you receive a library card with a permanent account number barcode. To sign up for a temporary card number, click on the Register Now Link from the Patron Account screen of the Library's online catalog.

See more information on  Requirements for borrowers , how to check out items, information on returning items or using the Library's online databases.
