Computer Training Lab

The Port Angeles Library now has a computer training lab, thanks to the U.S. Library Program of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. This lab will be used to teach computer skills to staff and patrons, and it will serve as a regional facility for training staff from other libraries. Anyone in the community may also reserve the lab for training in accordance with our public meetings policy.

When not in use for training, the lab is open for public access computing. The computers are loaded with software, including Microsoft Office programs, Internet Explorer and the Encarta reference suite. Additional features include foreign language capabilities and accessibility options for the disabled.
